In a way, I’d feel more sad about Bryan’s sensitive sensitivities if he had any kind of charitable thoughts about anyone else posted in any of his tweets, anywhere. Instead he’s just another panicked, bitter, theocratic homophobe who has little conceptual understanding about things like helping the poor, toleration of others beliefs and having empathy and compassion for his fellow man; you know, all that stuff that Jesus actually has been purported to have taught in his ministries.
a sad “Xhristian” indeed.

I am willing to bet a large sum of money that 9 out of 10 Americans do not know Bryan Fisher is. Hell, 9 out of 10 republicans do not know who Bryan Fisher is. Ill give you odds, 9 out of 10 teabaggers do not know who Bryan Fisher is.
However I suspect 9 out of 10 lefties know who he is. On second thought I’ll bet they do not know who he is either.

Well here something the troglodyte from Idaho can gnash his teeth and weep sweet tears of anguish about even more.
4 couples sue Idaho over same-sex marriage ban
BOISE — Four Idaho couples are suing the state in federal court to challenge laws banning same-sex marriage and denying recognition to same-sex couples who married in other states.
I hope they win. Oh, and those of you who have twitter accounts, please, please feel free to tweet this news to the asshole.

Not only is Rand Paul a plagiarist, he steals from horrible sources. Wikipedia was bad enough, but now evidence he steals from Gatestone Insititute, a source that would likely get him banned from LGF!

A BIG Cadillac. Thai women tend to be small, but 5000 is a lot.

One thing that mystifies me about internet advertizing - on Watch Forums, I’ll see ads with middle-aged women with improbably large breasts, telling me they don’t like YOUNGER men, they want ME! Well, that makes sense. You gotta figure most watch collectors are old enough that a “Cougar” would qualify as a ‘Younger Woman’.
Here, we’ll see ads for Sarah Palin’s book or Ann Coulter’s book. Well, that makes sense, since we discuss them, though not in favorable terms.
But on Bikeforums, I keep seeing ads for guns and gun related items. I have yet to see anyone on those forums mention guns. Sure, it’s mostly, but not exclusively guys, but still - guns? And why not on the watch forums?
Some kinda funky algorithms.

No snark—I think the ads are smart enough to follow you. My gender-flipped login gets me ads for lonely but liberal young men.

the ad selection algorithms are clearly in a primitive stage (and frankly i hope they stay there). my favorite example is their tendency to advertize back at you something that you have just bought

I’ve seen this kind of post before and I always wonder what exactly the point is supposed to be? Because it comes off as kind of a passive aggressive conservative asshole way of saying that someone should shut up about the person/thing they’re talking about because it’s trivial, unimportant and something only liberals obsess over.
Anyway as Kragar pointed out, the question isn’t how many people know who he is, but why so many GOP leaders feel the need to go on his show and kowtow to him. Also, why so many of his extremist and bigoted positions are enshrined in the GOP national platform.

The “homosexual agenda” again. Apparently Bryan believes homosex is so appealing that a teacher’s word and a few pop culture endorsements will be enough to convert millions of horny teenagers to the gay/dark side.
Why in the world would he think such a thing? Hmmm?

There’s a new version of the LGF Pages bookmarklet tonight, Pages authors.
I’m stoked about this version, because I finally worked out how to make the part you install in your browser nothing more than a loader for the rest of the code. I was halfway there with the previous version, but the new one separates the loader from the functions completely.
This will let me update and modify the actual guts of the code at will, and it will automagically be updated for every Pages author, with no need to reinstall the bookmarklet at all. Hopefully.
And it still gets around the popup blockers of most popular browsers too.
Anyway, install the new version of the “Create A Page” bookmarklet and enter the new era, where everything is sparkly and magical.

PHILADELPHIA For the first time in 159 years, Philadelphians have elected a Whig to public office - specifically, putting a member of the Modern Whig Party into a spot as judge of elections in Northeast Philadelphia’s 56th Ward, in the Rhawnhurst section.
Robert “Heshy” Bucholz, 39, a software engineer with four children and a fifth on the way, went door to door soliciting support from his neighbors and wound up garnering 36 votes, compared with 24 for his Democratic opponent, Loretta Probasco. As judge of elections, he’ll be in charge of his neighborhood polling place for the next four years, beginning with the primary election in May.

The people who employ Fischer, the DeVos family (of Amway, along with their in-law Erik Prince of Blackwater/Xe/Academi) are also several of the top individual financial contributors to the Republican party.
What surprises me is that these people get less scrutiny than the Koch brothers.

Yeah, I can’t quite figure how anyone who’s straight is worried about ‘recruitment’. Never made any sense to me, but then I’ve never found other men attractive. I mean, look at us! We’re lumpy and hairy, and don’t get me started on how ridiculous the outdoor plumbing looks!
I can’t see what women find alluring about us at all, but I’m glad they find SOMEthing.
So, I wonder what it is about homosexuality that homophobes are so afraid of.

No problem. I still think the modern whigs might get a lot further if they dropped the state’s rights crap, at least as it relates to restricting individual civil rights and equality. I’m all for state’s rights when it comes to liberalizing marijuana laws and such, expanding freedom and equality, but defending them when they’re enforcing official bigotry is a non starter.
