Just What Ferguson Needs: An Extreme Right Wing Anti-Government Militia

The far right flexes its muscles in Missouri

Now showing up in Ferguson, Missouri: the “Oathkeepers,” one of the most extreme right wing militia groups in the US and one of many offshoots of the Patriot movement, with numerous ties to white nationalist and xenophobic anti-immigrant groups. Founder Stewart Rhodes believes Barack Obama is plotting to disarm American citizens and turn US cities into “giant concentration camps.” He explained the goals of the group like this:

“We say if the American people decide it’s time for a revolution, we’ll fight with you.”

It’s doubtful the addition of these far right gun worshippers to the volatile Ferguson situation is going to make things better.

The Oath Keepers.

The same folks who were ready and willing to use women and children as human shields when they were aiming sniper rifles at cops at Bundy Ranch.

But don’t dare call them racist reactionary shit balls.

4 Mike Lamb  Dec 2, 2014 3:10:12pm

Given the stated goals, why, then, wouldn’t they be watching the police?

The same folks who were outraged by songs like “Fuck the Police” and “Cop Killer” 20 years ago are the ones who say they need to be ready to shoot cops in the name of freedom and liberty today.

Police harassment and brutality of Minority communities has given small government conservatives/libertarians a way to have a political connection with minority communities. The issues of a governmental system in the criminal justice system, and governmental actors in the police, should offer an opportunity for outreach…

Oh, what am I talking about? It’s minorities being disrespected by the government, that’s okay to these groups.

We’re supposed to be on a timetable here. We’re supposed to have seized every gun in the US, destroyed the armed services and killed over 100 million people before 2016. You can’t rush these things at the last minute and expect them to be done right.

Founder Stewart Rhodes believes Barack Obama is plotting to disarm American citizens and turn US cities into “giant concentration camps.”

Why would a mostly black community be disinclined to trust a mostly white vigilante group? Let me think…

How many fricking times to we have to go over this?

Rocks are NOT “free”, citizen.

Firstly, you must manoeuvre the Emperor’s naval vessel within reach of the asteroid belt, almost assuredly sustaining damage to the Emperor’s ship’s paint from micrometeoroids, while expending the Emperor’s fuel.

Then the tech priests must inspect the rock in question to ascertain its worthyness to do the Emperor’s bidding. Should it pass muster, the Emperor’s Servitors must use the Emperor’s auto-scrappers and melta-cutters to prepare the potential ordinance for movement. Finally, the tech priests finished, the Emperor’s officers may begin manoeuvring the Emperor’s warship to abut the asteroid at the prepared face (expending yet more of the Emperor’s fuel), and then begin boosting the stone towards the offensive planet.

After a few days of expending a prodigious amount of the Emperor’s fuel to accelerate the asteroid into an orbit more fitting to the emperor’s desires, the Emperor’s ship may then return to the planet via superluminous warp travel and await the arrival of the stone, still weeks (or months) away.

After twiddling away the Emperor’s time and eating the Emperor’s food in the wasteful pursuit of making sure that the Emperor’s enemies do not launch a deflection mission, they may finally watch the ordinance impact on the planet (assuming the Emperor’s warship does not need to attempt any last-minute course correction upon the rock, using yet more of the Emperor’s fuel).

Given a typical (class Bravo-CVII) system, we have the following:
Two months, O&M, Titan class warship: 4.2 Million Imperials.
Two months, rations, crew of same: 0.2 MI
Two months, Tech Priest pastor: 1.7 MI
Two months, Servitor parish: 0.3 MI
Paint, Titan class warship: 0.9 MI
Dihydrogen peroxide fuel: 0.9 MI
Total: 9.8 MI

Contrasting with the following:
5 warheads, magna-melta: 2.5 MI
One day, O&M, Titan class warship: 0.3 MI
One day, rations, crew of same: 0.0 MI
Dihydrogen peroxide fuel: 0.1 MI
Total: 2.9 MI

Given the same amount with under one third of the cost, the Emperor will have saved a massive amount of His most sacred money and almost a full month of time, during which His warship may be bombarding an entirely different planet.

The Emperor, through this - His office of Imperial outlays - hereby orders you to attend one (1) week of therapeutic accountancy training/penance. Please report to Areicon IV, Imperial City, Administatum Building CXXI, Room 1456, where you are to sit in the BLUE chair.

For the Emperor,
Bursarius Tenathis,
Purser Level XI,
Imperial Office of Outlays.

Time for an update then.
We have eliminated Lubbock from the target list. Others on the committee agree that it richly deserves reduction to a reeking crater but feel that not enough people would notice or care.
Dallas and Fort Worth are also out, since they are close by and I don’t want the soot to blanket my pecan trees.
We considered Berkeley as a false flag op, but nobody would believe that right-wing imbeciles could control an asteroid, especially now that Cheney is out of the loop.

I refer to the Oath Keepers as ‘double patriots’. They remind me of some sectors of the Japanese military.

Thos people referred to themselves as ‘double patriots’ because they believed they were serving the higher interests of The Emperor while acting against the things and people they disagreed with.

Handy excuse.

They caused a lot of shit, and it could be argued they helped a lot in bringing WWII about.

The similarities between them and the Oath Keepers is very marked.

I need your help in finding lectures and meetings with corrupt judges and officials who covered up Obama’s bogus IDs and committed treason. We need to demand answers from them: why did they do it and wen will they clean up their act?

Please, bring your cameras, record their answers on video, upload those videos on the Internet. We need to confront each and every corrupt judge, who covered up Obama’s usurpation of Presidency with fabricated IDs, confront every corrupt official and congressman and demand answers. They typically give lectures, appear before different groups, sell their books and have question and answer sessions. The whole nation deserves answers. You see the damage Obama does to the whole nation. You see how he is stealing millions of American jobs and trillions of dollars with his amnesty. We need to know how these judges, officials and congressmen were threatened or intimidated. What caused them to commit treason and become criminally complicit in allowing this Americans hating criminal to sit in the WH with a stolen SSN and fabricated IDS.

Please, forward to Senator Grassley and every Senator on Judiciary committee my letter sent to the Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch. Demand they question her during her nomination hearing, whether she will file criminal charges against Obama for his use of a stolen CT SSN REDACTED and his use of fabricated IDs.

Yeah, it’s Orly, and yeah, the duplicated first paragraph is from her too.

That’s kind of what we have in Detroit, where literally 70% of all murders go unsolved per year.
And given the hostility that the police face when they go into these…umm..urban neighborhoods, who would blame the police to let places like Detroit go it alone.

103 lawhawk  Dec 3, 2014 10:37:51am

re: #102 walkingdeadhead

The clearance rate nationally on homicides is quite low. Only about 52% of homicides are solved in Michigan as a whole. That’s down at the low end of clearances.

At the high end, Nebraska solves 84%, Arkansas solves 82%, and Maine 80%.

Most states are well in between.

As for cities, it depends on the resources they have to devote to clearing cold cases, testing DNA in rape kits, and other steps to solve crimes. Cities and states can make tremendous strides in clearing homicides. That goes to priorities - Philadelphia had a middling clearance rate, and they changed police commissioners and priorities and were able to start clearing cases at a significantly higher rate.

Detroit is at the low end, but that too is a symptom of a financially strained government.

When police treat the communities with respect, they get respect in return. When police treat the communities as the enemy, is it any wonder when the communities see the police as the enemy?

I have to say, working near “the hood” the police display remarkable restraint when it comes to the daily interaction with the locals. I think putting body cameras on the cops will backfire on the progressives, because people will see just what it is that the cops have to deal with on a daily basis.
The cooperation that the cops get when it comes to inner city crime is almost nil. It takes a very brave person to face down this “snitches get stitches” attitude, which has already made its presence known in St. Louis.

Child, I’ve known many SF men. You aren’t one, faker. Go home, your mommy’s calling.

Went to Training Group in ‘65 & O&I. After “3” qualification, assigned to 7th Group. Next to 5th Group in Vietnam in ‘66, where I received a direct commission. I went back to 5th Group in ‘69.

Perhaps we can arrange a meeting where I’ll show you the certificates, the Purple Hearts, CIB, and other decorations.

I ain’t no child, and haven’t been one in awhile.

Sorry, Billy, I am not a faker.

Post your DD214 then. IF it’s real, I’ll file a complaint with Brag because they were scraping the barrel then. Child.
