Trump’s Longtime Butler Is a Racist Birther Who Wants Obama to Be Killed

Strange how these people just keep turning up next to Trump
Politics • Views: 64,091

Did you know Donald Trump has a butler? Of course he does! A guy like Trump, without a butler? That would be inconceivable!

And of course, one of Trump’s former butlers (who retired after 17 years of making sure Trump’s other servants were doing their jobs) is a racist, misogynist Birther who thinks Obama should be executed and says so frequently on his Facebook page.

A guy like Trump without a racist Birther butler? That would be inconceivable!

Senecal regularly posts screeds on his Facebook page from a far-right perspective in which he decries Obama and his wife—along with Hillary Clinton, other Democrats, and Republican leaders. He often refers to Obama as “zero,” and several times has called for the president’s execution. He confirms that he has written all the posts on the page that have appeared under his name. “It’s all me,” he says.

On April 21, 2015, Senecal railed,

Looks like that sleezey bastard zero (O) is trying to out maneuver Congress again, if the truth be known this prick needs to be hung for treason!!!

On May 23, 2015, he published a post saying,

I feel it is time for the SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION !!!!! The only way we will change this crooked government is to douche it !!!!! This might be the time with this kenyan fraud in power !!!!! …[W]ith the last breath I draw I will help rid this America of the scum infested in its government—and if that means dragging that ball less dick head from the white mosque and hanging his scrawny ass from the portico—count me in !!!!!

On June 6, 2015, one of his Facebook friends wrote a comment on Senecal’s page saying, “We need to send the seals to SOROS and ROTHCHILD and REMOVE them and their cronies—then HANG BO and most of Washington—and we’ll have a CHANCE to get things straightened out.” This person added, “everyone knows they’re CRIMINAL - HANG ALL OF THEM.” Senecal replied, “I love the idea.”

On May 26, 2015, a commenter on the page excoriated Obama and his wife Michelle (referring to the First Lady as “Sasquatch”): “If he gets hung, then Sasquatch does too.” Senecal responded, “Amen….Two of the most DISGUSTING individuals on the face of God’s Green Earth !!!! Puke !!!!!!”

UPDATE at 5/12/16 1:15:10 pm by Charles Johnson

And now that this insane ranting has been exposed, Senecal has bought himself an investigation by the Secret Service.

Let’s see. Donny’s dad engaged in discriminatory housing practices. Donny’s said countless racist, bigoted, misogynist, and otherwise ignorant and hateful things by the score.

And now Donny’s butler is also proudly stating his racist and bigoted views.

What is it about the Trump family that spurs people in his family and their employees to be racists? /rhetorical - I don’t have any answer other than some people feel that everyone else around them are beneath them (their lot in life is to be subservient, and some are more privileged than others - on looks, color of skin, gender, etc.) Trump ticks off each of those privileges.

And why do so many Republicans feel it is okay to have Trump as their candidate? Could it be that they too are racist or share his views? That’s surely part of it. Trump’s gained ground in every poll following saying something racist and bigoted, and it spurs a deluge of online hate that comes out of the woodwork. Heck, just today David Duke showed Trump the love. So too have countless other white supremacists.

These racist asshats support Trump taking their views out of the shadows and putting them front and center.

Freddie the Farmer is an idiot, episode 1,000,001. From Lawyers, Guns, and Money:

As the historian Kevin Kruse (whose book One Nation Under God is strongly recommended) observed, the obvious answers are “yes,” “yes,” “yes,” and “this is not a thing but assuming you mean the Fair Housing Act, yes.” The idea that the Social Security — which not only offered modest benefits but intentionally excluded large numbers of African-Americans — was not an example of incremental reform is quite remarkable. Even more revealing is the Medicaid example. Nothing makes it clearer that this fake-nostalgia for the REAL LIBERAL Democratic Party of yore is just a rhetorical cudgel with which to beat Democrats and not any kind of serious historical analysis than this. Apparently, a public health insurance that required states to cover only a subset of people well below the poverty line was REAL, UNCOMPROMISING LIBERALISM while a public health insurance program that required states to cover everyone up to 138% of the poverty line is the hopelessly compromised neoliberal work of useless corporate sellouts. Right.

I wonder how much more nasty crap will be brought to light about Trump between now and November? It helps when journalists actually do their job.

There was a story the other day on NPR about how Trump made $8 million simply by helping one of the owners of the Empire State building threaten to break the lease.
Legal, but all that money just got sucked out of the renters and their customers. For nothing.

Freddie is a self-described Socialist, which I think helps to illustrate the divide between HRC and Bernie backers to a degree. The Socialist Left, if I may use that term, seems to assume that Democrats should enact a Socialist program for the economy, and are upset that HRC, and Obama and Bill Clinton before her, have not signed on to that agenda. And the Clinton-Obama-Clinton failure to do so is conceived of as “corrupt”.

And he said that so easily and with no hint of hesitation to find the words.

He is a very slick liar. If he is The Greatest at anything there it is.

But wouldn’t even the fact that he tried to sell that BS about the audit going back through several years of returns throw up some troubling questions?

It should…as much as he doesn’t seem to want to release any of them. He must have some major tax return issues for that to be the case.

And even if he is being audited…I’m pretty sure he has copies of all those returns that he could release.

Generally, the IRS can include returns filed within the last three years in an audit. Additional years can be added if a substantial error is identified. Generally, if a substantial error is identified, the IRS will not go back more than the last six years.

Trump can release his personal income tax information at any time. The IRS doesn’t prohibit a person from releasing their own information, even if it is under audit.

As you note, the IRS has various lookback periods, and it is entirely possible that in looking at some of his returns, the IRS red-flagged items, and then sought more information from prior years.

Not surprising or shocking considering that if you are taking certain items as deductions or credits, you’re probably doing that on multiple year returns. So, if there’s a problem with one year, it’s rippling through other years - forwards and back.

Still, I think the big reason that he doesn’t want to release is that it’d show that he’s not nearly as well off as he claims - that his income is far below what one would expect a billionaire to be bringing in annually in income. I suspect that he’s cash poor and highly leveraged with most of his wealth tied up in various corporate entities and real estate, not as liquid assets.

Someone was doing the Windows 10 dance last thread, this story I just saw is interesting:

When the Defense Department announced its plan to upgrade most of its computers to Windows 10 by 2017, the Marine Corps, characteristically, said it would go first. But the smallest of the Defense services has run into problems.

Upgrading the operating systems on three million desktops within the mandated timeframe rests largely on performing those updates remotely, without a technician having to visit each desktop and laptop. In the Marines’ case, early plans suggested they’d be able to do so with roughly 60 to 70 percent of the computers within the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN).

But Brig. Gen. Dennis Crall, the Marine Corps CIO, says it now appears the actual figure is more like 10 percent.

“Our challenges are with hardware, and hardware that is older than a couple years is having more difficulty accepting Windows 10 than hardware that is new,” he told an AFCEA DC forum in Arlington, Va. Wednesday. “And when you look at what ‘new’ means within DoD, we purchase yesterday’s technology tomorrow. A lot of our brand-new systems are having difficulty with the upgrade as soon as they come out of the box, and we didn’t anticipate that.”

I’m must not buying the libertarian line any longer.

hmmm…this little tidbit sent me down the google rabbit hole:

In 1990, Mr. Senecal took a sabbatical to become the mayor of a town in West Virginia, where he gained some notoriety for a proposal requiring all panhandlers to carry begging permits. He said that Mr. Trump wrote to him, “This is so great, Tony.”

Mr. Senecal returned in 1992, and took up his old residence in the butler’s room, but was soon asked to move out after Mr. Trump married Marla Maples, who “really didn’t belong here,” Mr. Senecal said. Also, Mr. Trump wanted to rent the room out to members.

First stop, LA Times in 1993:

The afternoon of Aug. 16, a 6-foot-1 man wearing a suit and tie, white golf hat and sunglasses used a BB gun to rob the Bank of Baltimore in Damascus, Md., about an hour’s drive from Martinsburg. He took a teller hostage, but released her unharmed a short distance away. Then he fled in his blue BMW with $14,482, but ran the car into a ditch after a brief chase.

As police questioned the man, they said, he confessed to an earlier robbery July 20 at the Bank of Baltimore in Gaithersburg, Md., in which he made off with $46,957.

They identified the man as Michael Welshans.

The next day, recalled Tony Senecal, a businessman and the former mayor of Martinsburg, “I went to the box and got the paper. There was Mike’s picture, and I read the headline. My stomach did a roll. I just physically felt queasy.”

“businessman” really? Do tell…

Google’s new ‘Gboard’ for iPhone lets you Google while you Google

If you’re an iPhone owner who has been wishing for a way to involve Google in basically everything you do on your Apple device, the search giant has good news — an all-new iOS keyboard with Google inside.

….

Perhaps predicting the backlash that would come with the release of a system keyboard from the world’s largest collector of personal information, Gooogle is quick to point out that it will collect only “anonymous statistics” in order to “diagnose problems when the app crashes and…know which features are used most often.”

Uh huh.

OMG and LOL!

Tony Senecal no longer brings Donald Trump breakfast, presses his suits or restocks his Diet-Coke stash at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. He retired in 2009. But the billionaire’s former butler still spends his days in gilded splendor.

Senecal is working at a West Palm Beach antique showroom, where he can meander beneath dozens of chandeliers, stop to admire a 19th Century relic of neoclassical France, and pause to catch his reflection in an ornate, Louis XVI-style mirror.

Best of all for a loyal ex-butler now enjoying his 15 minutes of fame, thanks to the global spotlight on Trumpian tangents during the 2016 presidential race, Senecal can linger in Mar-a-Lago memories.

“Those were the best years of my life,” says Senecal, who now serves as the estate’s historian.

At 74, he is a man of many lives. A native of upstate New York, he once worked as a schoolteacher. He owned a cigar shop. He took off a couple of his butler years to run for and serve as mayor of Martinsburg, a small city in West Virginia where he made headlines for his failed attempt to impose a licensing fee on “wino” panhandlers.

And but for a twist of fate, he might have gone off to serve another strongman-in-the-making. It’s what brought him to Palm Beach in the first place as a revolution churned in Cuba: A teenage Senecal was to meet about a dozen other guys at a local bar and plot a secret mission to join Fidel Castro’s rebels.

“But no one showed up,” he recalls.

He did have some luck at another bar, where he met a security guard for cereal heir Marjorie Merriweather Post. That contact help him score a chance to join the staff at Mar-a-Lago, the iconic oceanfront mansion Post built in 1927. Fate may have denied Senecal a role as foot soldier in the Cuban mountains, but not one as footman at Mar-a-Lago.

oh, it would be too perfect if Senecal was a friend in arms of Ted Cruz’s dad back in the day…

Someone was doing the Windows 10 dance last thread, this story I just saw is interesting:
“Our challenges are with hardware, and hardware that is older than a couple years is having more difficulty accepting Windows 10 than hardware that is new,” he told an AFCEA DC forum in Arlington, Va. Wednesday. “And when you look at what ‘new’ means within DoD, we purchase yesterday’s technology tomorrow. A lot of our brand-new systems are having difficulty with the upgrade as soon as they come out of the box, and we didn’t anticipate that.”

federalnewsradio.com

I remember when the Army was moving to putting a couple of PC’s in each unit. They were still buying Zenith 286’s when the rest of the world has moved WAY beyond that. Also the unique ability to put a collection of (Different, Incompatable) software on each machine that made sharing data via sneaker-net (the only option) almost impossible. I still wake up in a cold sweat from Enable QA (which we referred to as “Disabled”) and some god-forsaken word processing program that was designed to emulate the stand alone Wang word processing machine.
