Another Woman Comes Forward to Say Trump Groped Her

“It’s a sexual assault issue”

Iframe

Another woman has come forward to say Donald Trump groped her without consent, in a New York nightclub in the early 1990s. And as with the other women, she told friends about it at the time and they back up her story.

Kristin Anderson was deep in conversation with acquaintances at a crowded Manhattan nightspot and did not notice the figure to her right on a red velvet couch — until, she recalls, his fingers slid under her miniskirt, moved up her inner thigh, and touched her vagina through her underwear.

Anderson shoved the hand away, fled the couch and turned to take her first good look at the man who had touched her, she said.

She recognized him as Donald Trump: “He was so distinctive looking — with the hair and the eyebrows. I mean, nobody else has those eyebrows.”

[…]

The episode, as Anderson described it, lasted no more than 30 seconds. Anderson said she and her companions were “very grossed out and weirded out” and thought, “Okay, Donald is gross. We all know he’s gross. Let’s just move on.”

Over the years, Anderson, now 46 and a photographer living in Southern California, has recounted the story to people she knew, casually at first. One friend, Kelly Stedman, told The Washington Post that Anderson informed her about the encounter a few days after it happened.

Just as with all of the other women, the Trump campaign denies this and accuses Anderson of seeking publicity. Of course.

As Trump has done with others who have made accusations, his campaign said that Anderson is making the whole thing up.

“Mr. Trump strongly denies this phony allegation by someone looking to get some free publicity. It is totally ridiculous,” Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in an emailed statement.

Once again, the woman accusing will be dragged through the mud, and Trump’s surrogates will do everything to claim this didn’t happen. Problem is that Trump says that he’s engaged in these activities with impunity because he’s Donald f’n Trump.

Well, guess what - the bill’s coming due, and he’s going to pay dearly for all of his heinous behaviors. It shouldn’t have taken a presidential run to do it, but that’s where we are.

I admire the women who come forward to tell their stories of how Trump abused them. I totally understand the hundreds, possibly thousands of women who will stay silent knowing how Trump will brand them as liars or worse, and the retribution they may face.

The awful thing is woman after woman will come forward, and it will all become a blur. The first one was shocking. Its already getting close to the point where the reaction will be “ho-hum, another Trump groping story” instead of “my god, this man is a monster.”

Trump is already a caricature given that he’s already a proven bigot, misogynist, and anti Semite and enables others to be bigots and anti Semites and misogynists. That he’s a sex predator too is as though he’s every single bogeyman in one horrible orange package (the color orange should have been the first warning - nature has their ways to warn and color is the most prominent). But it’s as though having said and done too many bad things isn’t just registering with people. It’s already being factored in.

Trump has taught his sons to be just as awful as he is. It’s an entitlement culture, and you know that there will zero soul searching among the Trump family, or the GOP when the election is over and they’ve lost.

Trump will continue to be Trump, albeit with more lawsuits and legal headaches than he can manage. His kids likely face heightened scrutiny and their own economic future in doubt as the house of cards collapsed from all the scrutiny.

The next question isn’t how many women come forward to accuse Senior, but if any come forward to claim that Jr. or Eric have engaged in similar behavior.

And lest you think Ivanka comes up smelling like roses in all this, her record in business isn’t much different than Donald’s - awful towards women who work for her, doing the bare minimum under the law, and refused to stand up to the bigots who Trump surrounded himself with during the campaign. Her silence was assent. There’s no other way around that - and she was supposedly one of Trump’s closest advisers.

Maybe OT, but I’ve been wondering if the next (and probably last) “bad thing” the Clinton campaign is going drop on the Drumpfenbund is the “Nazi bomb”? The Donald and his stooges have made a Bidenesque BFD about Hillary’s use of the term “deplorables” - usually in the context of whiny butthurt about ALL Trump/GOP voters being tarred as bigots, neo-Nazis, etc - I’m just wondering if this isn’t going to be the last shot-in-the-guts to the Trump campaign.
What I would do, if I had a lucrative public-spirited position in the Clinton campaign, would be to take out full-page ads in every major newspaper in the country, graphically illustrating every vile antisemitic trope (and NOT just Pepe The Frog) Trump’s pals at Breitbart, et. al, have put out on Twitter, or anywhere - and do it just before the last debate. And then force Combover Napoleon to either disavow the blatant bigotry (which he will probably claim ignorance of), or (Dog help us) defend it.

IMO, it’s a win-win for Clinton/Dems/humanity…

The Clinton women, as I recall, received thorough investigations of their claims by highly-motivated, well-funded people with subpoena power. All-day every-day cable news coverage for months on end, front page of every newspaper every day for months. Then televised hearings. A 400-page report. Financial settlements and legal fees that brought the Clintons’ net worth to zero.

If the Trump women get similar treatment… I’m okay with that.

Pence has no decency whatsoever:

“Her invasion of Libya handed the country over to ISIS, the barbarians,” he said in a recent speech.

During the March 2011 hearing, Pence, then a congressman, offered Clinton pro forma niceties for her role during the Libya crisis. But he also went on to “encourage and urge the administration to stand with” the rebels, and called for “a coordinated international response, including a no-fly zone.” He added, emphatically, “Gaddafi must go.”

“I’m grateful to hear the secretary of state and the administration take that position unambiguously,” Pence said.

As Mike Pence takes the stage tonight at the Republican National Convention, we thought it would be helpful to give a refresher on the praise he has showered on Hillary Clinton in the past:

“On a broad number of issues related to the war on terror, Senator Clinton has been a strong supporter of national defense.” - Mike Pence on CNN’s Crossfire, 5/13/05

I also want to thank you, specifically, for the efforts by the administration and your offices to further isolate Libya during a time of extraordinary tragedy in the streets, tragedy of which I think we’re probably only partially aware.” - Mike Pence, Hearing On Economy’s Impact On U.S. Foreign Policy, House Committee On Foreign Affairs, 3/2/11

re: #73 Big Beautiful Door

How did you manage that? I usually can’t take more than a few seconds of Rush. What was he ranting about today?

originally i thought he was gonna make a point about student loan debt. but then he just ranted on disjointedly and tried to blame everything, literally, everything wrong with the country and the world on “the democrats” - you know this singular unified mass of borg thinking and acting. oh, and that monolith “democrat party”

he started with all the problems millenials have are the democrats fault. literally everything.

then he went into demonstrable lies about crime rates and murder rates and who “benefits” and why “no one talks about it”

who commits most crimes (obviously “registered” democrats) - yes he said that registered democrats are responsible for most mass shootings

and it’s the democrats fault even though most law enforcement is state/local and not on the presidents desk to “fix”

something something about trumps path to victory with suburban moms

then he went into “something no one has ever heard of before surfaces about the Republican nominee” every election cycle at this time - ie the october surprise

he’s trying to compare clinton to trump. whereas trumps past behavior is well documented. and not consensual. and clinton’s was not while campaigning, and consensual (he was implying lewinsky, not the others)

and then kennedy / chappaquiddick (no one ever talks about it but when they do they “glorify” it/him)

at no time did he say trump didnt do the things he’s being accused of

most of what he said is absurd hyperbole and not possibly true to (sorry) anyone with a brain (even without google)

his schtick is stupid, moronic, sweeping factless generalizations that (sorry) only an idiot could accept verbatim as verified truth

and he, like i guess the others, has an audience.

since he’s only “an entertainer”, i guess it’s all good, no worries.

According to the story, posted at noon on Friday, UVa admissions counselors admitted to accepting the tickets from Dipont — an education company that the Reuters report accuses of massive college application fraud— in 2014.

According to the report, Dipont claims UVa officials — along with officials from several other universities — have personally advised Dipont students who were applying for admission to U.S. colleges.

Vanderbilt University, Wellesley College, Syracuse University, Tulane University and the University of Southern California are among the colleges also implicated in the report.

re: #53 Jay C

Either that, or make that ad a diagram showing every connection he has to alt right/racist/neo nazi creeps out there; ie his son appearing on “Political Cesspool,” Bannon’s associations, all those re-tweets, his tepid condemnation of David Duke.

I’d also buy the rights from whoever made the video of Trump talking about how back in the day, protesters got their asses kicked while footage of lunch counter demonstrations played, and make two or three 30 second versions of it.

Either one of those could be Trump’s daisy girl, methinks.

Acting Out

A form of displacement (expressing unconscious emotional conflicts or feelings in actions, not words) in which a patient’s behaviour is a response to the current situation. The actor is not consciously aware of the significance of such acts. Acting out (AO) may be harmful or, in controlled situations, therapeutic (e.g., children’s play therapy). In adults, AO represents an irrational solution to a conflict situation, leading to progressive emotional retreat and disintegration of the personality. In adolescents, AO may be a manifestation of masked depression, where desperation is denied or somatised, indicating a need for psychiatric intervention. In children, AO may be self-abusive, aggressive, violent and/or disruptive behaviour.

AO behaviours in adolescents School truancy, substance abuse, and somatisation—headaches or abdominal pain.

Negative behaviour—e.g., stealing, lying, constant whining—and other behavioural problems.

Republican propaganda has set up the GOP base to accept a fascist movement by systematically eradicating reason from the GOP base.

So once a real fascist like Donald Trump comes along, the GOP become a fascist party overnight. It’s the political equivalent of dropping one crystal of ice-9 into the sea to cause instant global solidification of all oceans.

Roofing company offers free firearm for new employees (VIDEO)

While companies offering their customers free guns as an incentive for whatever they’re selling isn’t all that uncommon anymore, one Colorado roofing company has taken that mentality one step farther and is offering a free AR-15 for new employees.

James Webb, owner of Weatherproof Roofing, offered a “Get a Roof, Get a Gun” promotion back during the summer and it was a huge success. Business has boomed and Webb now needs several positions filled as soon as possible.

“We just don’t have the staff to keep up with it,” Webb said. “So now we’re giving it another shot with ‘Get a Job, Get a Gun.’”

Nothing new, I’ve had two employers give me a free gun after I was hired: The US Army and Wells-Fargo Armored Service. The Army still has the same offer and they even provide free ammo.

Oh I get it. Fox News has showed the video, but not all True Americans watch Fox, so CNN has to be required to show this stupid video of nothing that will only produce laughs on the part of normal people.

This is the bigger problem.

In the past, until now, the deplorables accepted the W Bush, McCain, Romney candidacies as the most they could expect. Now that’s changed. Next time, I can’t imagine them being satisfied with a Nikki Haley or a Paul Ryan.

Then they can keep on losing.

Trump probably recognizes on some level that he’s going to lose. And seeing as he can’t stomach the idea of being a loser, he’s going to go with the next best thing.

He’s setting himself up as a martyr.

I think he’s setting himself up as a Leader.

He’s hoping to pull a Mussolini and storm DC after the election to take power, backed by his Blackshirts.

re: #274 EPR-radar

Republican propaganda has set up the GOP base to accept a fascist movement by systematically eradicating reason from the GOP base.

So once a real fascist like Donald Trump comes along, the GOP become a fascist party overnight. It’s the political equivalent of dropping one crystal of ice-9 into the sea to cause instant global solidification of all oceans.
