In other news: DOJ To SCOTUS: Make Anti-LGBT Discrimination Legal (goes to Joe My God):
The Justice Department today told the U.S. Supreme Court that businesses can discriminate against workers based on their gender identity without violating federal law. Solicitor General Noel Francisco told the high court that a civil rights law banning sex discrimination on the job doesn’t cover transgender bias. That approach already has created a rift within the Trump administration, contradicting the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s view of the law it’s tasked with enforcing.
A Michigan funeral home wants the high court to overturn a U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit decision finding that the company violated federal workplace discrimination law when it fired Aimee Stephens, a transgender worker. The EEOC successfully sued on behalf of Stephens in that case, but the Justice Department has the sole authority to represent the government before the Supreme Court. The DOJ told the high court that the Sixth Circuit got the case wrong.

Kim Davis on the campaign trail: ‘I did not treat anybody unfairly’ (Goes to LGBTQ Nation, more at the link):
Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis, who got national attention in 2015 for refusing to issue marriage licenses after the Obergefell Supreme Court decision, is up for reelection, and she is defending her homophobia on the campaign trail.
Shortly after the Supreme Court ruled bans on same-sex marriage unconstitutional in 2015, Davis was caught on video denying a marriage license to David Ermold and David Moore.
She announced that her policy was to stop issuing marriage licenses altogether because she was “asked to violate a central teaching of Scripture and of Jesus Himself regarding marriage.”
A judge ordered her to issue marriage licenses and sent her to jail for five days for contempt of court when she refused.

Explain why we need religion again?
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 ― Opposition leader Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed concerns about efforts needed to stem lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) activities in the country, saying a recent earthquake in Indonesia was caused by such behaviour.
Speaking at the Dewan Rakyat today during Question Time, Ahmad Zahid said he was worried that Malaysia might similarly incur the wrath of Allah due the LGBT community’s activities here.
“We look at the situation in Malaysia, we are worried because we know what happened in Palu recently where there was an earthquake and tsunami. It was reported that there were more than 1,000 members of their community who were involved in such (LGBT) activities.
“As a result the entire area was destroyed. This is the punishment of Allah. My question is whether Jakim’s programmes (to rehabilitate the LGBT) is successful because data shows that in the middle of the year more than 1,000 (LGBT) joined these programmes.
“We need to ensure that Malaysia and those who are against LGBT are spared Allah’s punishment,” said Ahmad Zahid.

Wow. If the GOP has lost the AARP, that’s pretty big.
I’ve made some contributions to candidates via Act Blue and I am now getting about 100 email messages a day telling me how every candidate is in absolute dire straights with their blue wave advantages crumbling before our eyes. I’m afraid that my budget is maxed out for donations and this constant bombardment of horrible news is making me feel like crap. I’ve got my sample ballot researched and filled out, but in-person early voting here doesn’t start until a week before the election. Despite all the news about early voting crowds, I’m horribly anxious about how this is going to end.

Back when Andrew Jackson was President, liberals in Congress passed a law to reduce the size of the court, to prevent Jackson from appointing justices during his term. The court shrank from 10 to 8.
After he was gone, the Judiciary Act of 1869 added one justice to end deadlocks of 4-4 on the court. All attempts at court-packing have since been stopped before they could occur (the last attempt was FDR).

I’m aware of the precedent and I’m aware of how FDR’s court packing scheme backfired terribly but as I said it’s something that I think ought to be considered A) because I think the court being stagnant at 9 isn’t good. Related, I favor expanding the size of Congress too. We have less members of the House than Britain does in the House of Commons and B) I want McConnell to know that payback is a bitch.

History of election violence in the USA. The idea that elections have been peaceful is a myth.
It would be comforting to conclude that the menace of violence surrounding the 2016 presidential election is unique. But my research on the history of voting rights in the United States suggests that this is far from the case. Indeed, the threat and execution of violence around elections has a long, sad history in American politics.

Also, I’m rather stunned that (as far as I’ve seen), no one has bothered to mention this:
The Austin serial bombings occurred between March 2 and 20, 2018, mostly in Austin, Texas. In total, five package bombs exploded, killing two people and injuring another five. The suspect, 23-year-old Mark Anthony Conditt of Pflugerville, Texas, blew himself up inside his vehicle after he was pulled over by police on March 21, also injuring a police officer.
…
Mark Anthony Conditt, born in June 1994 (age 23), lived in Pflugerville, Texas, outside Austin. He grew up in a very religious Christian family. The eldest of three children, he attended Austin Community College from 2010 to 2012, leaving without graduating but in good academic standing.[35] He was home-schooled by his mother, who in February 2013 “officially graduated” him from high school. He wrote blog posts in 2012, where he identified as a conservative who was “not that politically inclined”; he argued for the death penalty, and argued against same-sex marriages and sex offender registries. He reportedly was part of a club called Righteous Invasion of Truth (R.I.O.T.), apparently named after a Carman song. The club’s members, home-schooled kids, practiced survivalism and held Bible studies.

Occam’s razor (also Ockham’s razor or Ocham’s razor; Latin: lex parsimoniae “law of parsimony”) is the problem-solving principle that the simplest solution tends to be the correct one. When presented with competing hypotheses to solve a problem, one should select the solution with the fewest assumptions. The idea is attributed to William of Ockham (c. 1287-1347), who was an English Franciscan friar, scholastic philosopher, and theologian.

to be honest, this projection business and the outright lying about what is going on is the absolute crux of the issue….
The Democratic Party realized that they had supported some really shitty positions in the past, going back to the civil war, mostly dealing with racism and Jim Crow and with the death of Kennedy and the politicking of LBJ, did their best to be more inclusive and deal with their racism by attempting to put real legislative measures in place to start treating POC as equals.
was it perfect, hardly, but it was a step towards righting a wrong. the public evolution of people like Robert Byrd and actual policy to make improvements in the lives of POC showed a genuine attempt to try and heal what was still at the root of our issue as a country.
the GOP instead chose to continue to wrap themselves in the legacy of Lincoln in public but in Private made their own deal with the Devil in adopting the Southern Strategy and have been in denial about their own problem with racism ever since. But, unless the November election is a vast blue wave on all levels of government, it is truth and decency that will wither. Odds on retaking the house are good - enough to be hopeful about. Regardless (and sadly), voting tends to follow particular trends. Once the idiot administration starts to REALLY destroy the economy of the MAGA cultist, support will erode. I hope the US wakes up from this bad dream before then!

Well, Saturday is going to be another frenzy, as no one won tonight’s PowerBall jackpot. So the Saturday jackpot is estimated to be a $750M annuity.
That’s only an increase of $130M in the annuity, or only $75M for the cash-out option. PowerBall must think that Americans are exhausted at buying tickets this week, or perhaps it’s the end of the month and the customers have run out of money.

Well, holy shit:
The FBI arrested a man in Town of Madison, Wisconsin, on Wednesday for “trying to buy radioactive material with the intent to kill someone,” local news station WKOW reports. Jeremy Ryan, 30, allegedly attempted to buy a “lethal dose of a radioactive substance” online between March and October 2018. The Town of Madison Police Department confirmed to The Daily Beast that the man arrested was the same Jeremy Ryan who lost the August Republican primary while running for Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District in the House of Representatives. Agents reportedly searched Ryan’s home, and officials said there was no danger to the public. Ryan’s alleged target was not identified by officials, and he reportedly faces up to a life sentence in prison.

Just a brief news blurb here, but the Czechs are doing the right thing in response to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
The Foreign Ministry withdrew a Czech diplomat from the embassy in Riyadh in response to the botched killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul earlier this month. Minister Tomáš Petříček announced to reporters that other sanctions would be coordinated at the European level, and that he had summoned the Saudi ambassador to inform him of his decision.

JFC. Let’s hope this turns out to be a false alarm.
A suspect package similar to those sent to CNN and senior Democrats has been sent to a New York restaurant owned by the actor Robert De Niro, US media say.
Citing law enforcement sources, NBC said a device arrived at the Tribeca Grill early on Thursday local time.
If linked to previous packages, this would be the eighth explosive device sent to a perceived critic of President Trump.
De Niro is a vocal Trump opponent, and once called him “a national disaster”.
New York Police Department said the restaurant building was empty at the time the suspicious device arrived, NBC reports.

It’s a stupid comment too. Blackface was seen how it is now by most people in the 70’s and 80’s especially in the New York burbs she grew up in. She just did what she did at FNC. Give people who think this is okay an out. IDGAF if it was once acceptable. Right. She knows better. Even if her memory is right, black face isn’t acceptable.
Better yet why the hell is Kelly being so defensive of it now? She’s been in the public spotlight for awhile now and knows how unacceptable it is. Guess though she may have left FNC and was definitely victimized by that asshole Ailes, she’s still carrying that bigoted flame they love there.

re: #40 Anymouse 🌹
Which would instantly die on the vine. The Judiciary Act of 1869 would need to be repealed first.
Moreover, if the Dems could somehow do that, the GOP could too.
The Dems would better spend their capital trying to repeal the latest tax scam and working to fix the inanity with the ACA from the GOP.
But the current court will strike down any new healthcare law on a 5-4 vote. The Republicans have already smashed the norms around SCOTUS; if we let them keep their ill-gotten gains, this Court will continue to roll back much of the progress we’ve made in civil rights and environmental protection over the last 50 years.

Looks like the tape is real, should be interesting to see what kind of deal Erdogan cuts with MBS and Trump to keep it from going public.
I don’t have the time to think through all of the possibilities, (or enough information to make it worth even attempting to do that), but I have a suspicion that Turkey might not be interested in a deal with MBS.
Normally, we don’t see how intelligence agencies gather information, as exposing that information makes it much easier for foreign nations to counter those information gathering procedures.
Right from the start Turkey has been revealing much more about their information gather abilities than you would expect including:
* They have audio recording capabilities inside the consulate’s most protected office.
* The ability to track individuals throughout Istanbul via CCTV.
* Given how quickly the Turkish authorities responded to the event, a very high chance that they had an information source that the murder was going to take place before it was going to take place.
If they were looking to do a deal with MBS, I’m pretty sure they could have done it via private channels that didn’t broadcast all of that information to every intelligence agency in the world.
I think there is a much higher chance that Turkey thinks that the current Saudi Regime is far too unstable, and is gambling that putting this information public is going to either put enough pressure on the Saudi regime to remove MBS, or would at least make his position be more tenuous, so that he’s not as likely to start any more wars.
Of course, if the Turkish intelligence services _do_ have audio of MBS overseeing the murder in realtime via skype (which is not impossible) then what I said might be completely moot, as that would still be a thing worth bargaining for, even after the cost of what info they have given away already.
re: #169 Danack
Turkey has long sought to position itself as a leading political force in the Middle East, and anything it can do to discredit Saudi Arabia helps them in that direction.

Go away, Megyn. @nbchttps://apple.news/AviPrjbQyQ-urks9xeCO3Ug …
The NBC executives who are directly responsible for the Trump Presidency (no Apprentice, no Trump) thought exactly that: Megyn’s Fox routine would appeal to the NBC viewers plus she would bring in her Fox fans. As it turned out, it was a lose/lose proposition for NBC. Let’s just hope that the media does not cave in to the continuing assaults by our dictator wannabe.

I keep reading from RWNJs that all of the bombs have been duds, that they wouldn’t explode. Is that true or not?
*not that it makes any difference to me. A bomb is a bomb. I’m just trying to suss out the facts.
I’m playing catch up to the thread, but last night it was being reported by some of the ex-FBI guys on MSNBC the bombs were completely real and had they gone off could have been very dangerous…maybe deadly.
However, the question was why didn’t they go off?
The thinking was maybe the bomber is just at the terrorizing point where he wants to send a message that he can get to the people if he wants and the next time maybe the bombs are set to actually work.

For the leftish side of that list, I would add the time some guy from Baltimore came up to NYC and killed two cops sitting in their patrol car (the same summer as the Miller case in Vegas, almost the same scenario, but of course HUGELY different amount of news coverage. The black guy doing it in NY got all-day coverage on the networks, airlines donated seats for thousands of cops from other jurisdictions to come to the funeral, the funeral was broadcast live, all the Republicans and NYPD union boss made a huge stink that it was Black Lives Matter to blame. Two white people off the Bundy ranch doing the exact same thing in Vegas… was a one day story and dropped off the radar).
Also, the sniper that killed 5 Dallas cops. Obama spoke at the funeral.
re: #206 ObserverArt
The thinking was maybe the bomber is just at the terrorizing point where he wants to send a message that he can get to the people if he wants and the next time maybe the bombs are set to actually work.
Moreover, the first bomb discovered (the one delivered to George Soros) was discovered by one of his employees, and that person alerted the police rather than touch it.
The politicians who received them all have mail screening and/or Secret Service protection. They were intercepted by authorities.
My concern is if the agitprop from Trump and FOX and other GOP politicians, coupled with the visibility of this campaign, causes other wingnuts to go into “copycat” mode against local people in their areas.
Terror campaigns don’t have to kill people or injure them; the point is terror and they are doing a very good job at that right now. It doesn’t matter if it’s the intended target or a bystander: In that way it’s pretty much like a mass shooter. They don’t care who they kill or injure.
A package I didn’t expect turned up on my front porch yesterday. I checked with my wife before touching it (though it was raining); she was expecting it. I will be checking under my car and such before moving it. &c.

Or maybe, Turkey is just happy to have a chance to redirect attention from all the shitty things they’ve done and are still doing to all the journalists, cops, teachers, politicians etc of the non-Erdogan party — firing (and in some cases locking up and/or killing) anybody who could provide any opposition leadership.

The Senate forecast at 538 indicates an increasing likelihood that the GOP will pick up one or more seats (though a Democratic majority is still possible!). This makes it even more critical than ever to win the House, because if the GOP controls Congress and has 52 or more seats in the Senate, then next year they will have the votes to repeal Obamacare.

Maybe they didn’t go off because they were
(1) Sent to people who don’t open their own mail but have experts screen it first
(2) After the Soros package, these experts were on the alert for bombs
Is it possible that if these packages were sent to ordinary people, as in Austin, there would have been several fatalities by now?

As Nate Silver goes to pains to point out, an 80% probability is not a 100% probability, and there is a very real chance (40%) that one of the parties will control both Houses of Congress. If the GOP does, we’re screwed; its critical that the Democrats at least win control of the House, and if we’re lucky, they’ll win all the toss-up Senate seats, and maybe pull off an upset in Texas and/or Tennessee.

I mean in that, as good as he is, as indispensable as he is, he’s not the be all, end all of the team in the way many other ‘superstar’-led teams were (and yes, I speak of LeBron Cavs especially there). And outside of the Durant pickup, it’s not like they were high end names or superstars in their own right before finding cohesion in Oakland, especially Klay Thompson.
I mean, yes, if key pieces move out, you’ll see a much different (and much worse) team. Thunder really haven’t been much the same since Harden left, after all, and having really found a working core yet. That doesn’t change that Golden State is a very complete team that shows they can still win even when their ace has a bad night, or worse, the night off.

Annoying start to the day — now that I’m retired, I try to sleep in (really late!) but got an 8AM call on my cell from a 619 number. The person at the other end identified themselves as being from Medicare, told me that I was going to receive an updated card, and then started asking me to confirm information to ensure card was correct; they had correct name, address — all publicly available. I realized this was too suspicious and finally said my information has not changed from the last card they sent and hung up. Even that was probably too much to provide them, but at least I did not reveal anything other than what was already public knowledge — in any case I went online and discovered that these were telemarketers.

That was Governor Abbot of Texas, who sent the National Guard.
More than nothing to do, the state didn’t set up logistics properly for keeping troops in the desert, and many of the Guardsmen/women were dependent on donations of food and water from local residents.
They were also useless to Customs and Border Protection, not being trained in customs or border protection - they were largely relegated to make-work administrative tasks.

We should take this as a valuable caution: Medicare has replaced/will be replacing everybody’s cards, but AFAIK, does this only by mail - not the telephone. Investing in an answering machine to screen out telemarketing calls (I’ve noticed very few leave messages on an automated system) might be a wise retirement-account decision.
There are also, depending on what state you live in, “official” “Do Not Call” registries - which are *supposed* to keep your numbers off telemarketers’ lists: but which I’ve found (in NY anyway) is a supposition not supported by reality….

But it’s the Left that’s threatening violence.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders emerged from hiding this morning to catch up with the usual gang of idiots at “Fox & Friends” and discuss how the disturbing number of suspicious explosive items sent to prominent Democrats and members of the press is all the fault of Democrats and members of the press.
Co-host Ainsley Earhardt reminded viewers about the shooting of Republican Rep. Steve Scalise and “what happened” to Sanders and her family at a Lexington, Virginia, restaurant. I’m gonna put Earhardt’s selective memory on a brief hold and clarify that “what happened” to Sanders was not at all violent or life-threatening. She was politely asked to leave the Red Hen on the same legal principle Christian bakers politely refuse to bake wedding cakes for gay couples. Although the Red Hen’s moral exception to Sanders had nothing to do with her sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or even her politics in general. The staff didn’t want to serve Sanders because she is a professional advocate for and enabler of fascism. She’s free to practice that alternative lifestyle, but she’s not entitled to pan-seared scallops.

Somewhat surprisingly, Rod Dreher is up this morning with an article against the MAGA mobs. It’s still 80% clueless “both-siderism” but I’m sure it will illicit howls of protest from his troglodyte readers.
Among Weimar America’s Thugs
This morning, over my first cup of coffee, I saw a TV report that mentioned a Trump rally crowd in Wisconsin last night chanting “Lock her up!” when Hillary Clinton’s name was mentioned by a local Republican candidate at the podium. It bothers me that two years after she lost the election, Trumpist crowds are still vilifying Clinton by calling for her imprisonment. But the fact that they did that on the same day that someone sent a pipe bomb to her home — that’s just a fascist mob mentality, and it’s tearing this country apart.
Don’t come at me with your whataboutism. I frequently denounce left-wing mobs in this space, most recently the lunatics who were clawing at the doors of the Supreme Court when Brett Kavanaugh was inside being sworn in. Anti-civil political mob behavior needs to be called out and repudiated no matter who does it, because as Jordan Perkins says, its normalization will destroy us all. …
In his talk, Gingrich said that the polarization is “everyone’s fault,” which, okay, but the term “enemy of the people” is utterly unworthy of an American, especially a conservative American who is old enough to remember the Cold War, and what communism was, and is. And to use that phrase a day after someone sent a pipe bomb to CNN! What is wrong with him?
Donald Trump is not Adolf Hitler, or even close. I can’t think of a left-wing US leader who is either, nor can I think of a left-wing leader who is even as effective at mobilizing these sentiments as Donald Trump. But we Americans — all of us, left and right — are getting ourselves used to thinking in the kinds of categories, and unleashing the passions, that a truly gifted demagogue will be able to marshal with ferocious effectiveness.
Trump is not the problem. The problem is who comes after Trump. Trump, and Trumpism, didn’t come from nowhere. On this blog, I point out over and over how left-wing transgression of norms, on campus and elsewhere, feeds Trumpism. Jordan Perkins explains how it works. It is also true that Trumpist transgressions feed the left.

The targets are all people Trump identifies as enemies and rivals. This is not a coincidence, not with Trump’s inciteful attitudes and behaviors.
Someone is pursuing a political agenda with these terrorist acts. The bombs were designed to cause death and destruction. But for sheer luck, no one has been injured so far.

I no longer answer my telephone. I let my answering machine answer it. If I recognise who it is (or they identify themselves as someone I need to talk to) then I pick up.
If I’m in bed, it can wait. Unless I hear something like an emergency (for example, the water system alarm calling my house), they can wait.
re: #266 Jay C
We should take this as a valuable caution: Medicare has replaced/will be replacing everybody’s cards, but AFAIK, does this only by mail - not the telephone. Investing in an answering machine to screen out telemarketing calls (I’ve noticed very few leave messages on an automated system) might be a wise retirement-account decision.
There are also, depending on what state you live in, “official” “Do Not Call” registries - which are *supposed* to keep your numbers off telemarketers’ lists: but which I’ve found (in NY anyway) is a supposition not supported by reality….
I seldom answer my landline unless I recognize who is calling; but there have been so many family emergencies over the years, I usually answer my cell, since that’s the number friends and family have if there is a need to contact me. Unfortunately, unlike the landline, the cell only shows number not name, unless it’s a name I previously saved to my contact list.

re: #261 Hecuba’s daughter
I should have known better.
That is both a huge phone and email scam going on. I get both, though I am not on Medicare yet. I just turned 64 in August.
The individual needs to initiate all contact with insurance and banks and the like, or if someone is unable, have their caretaker do the contacts.
Even if it is a legit call, say you will call or visit their office. You make the contacts. It is best just to never trust anything like a phone call or email coming to you.

Perhaps because it will explode in a million pieces, because let’s face it, a meme like that is a bit of a giveaway. And/Or, perhaps in the bomber’s tiny mind,, he (Assuming it’s a he.) hopes it will be the last thing the intended victims will ever see. Bombers frequently have tells/marks that they use. They also put these things in because of ego and as their signature.
Or, they aren’t thinking that their bombs wont detonate into a million pieces. Or that the FBI can’t reconstruct bombs from their component parts.
Let’s remind folks that the 1993 WTC bombing was cracked because of a VIN on an engine component and the bomber went to the rental truck company seeking a refund. FBI matched those things up and broke up that terror group.

I don’t think that is clear yet. There have been an awful lot of ex FBI/ATF types saying the bombs for some reason did not go off.
Look at the bomb images. Do you see anything that would trigger them to go off when the envelope was opened?
Most exploding mail bombs are in some kind of a box or container that allows for the container to be the trigger, like a lid or flap.
The images show a funky cheap digital clock that looks to be the trigger.
Until we know for sure, I am going to not believe anything other than it was a pure terrorist result they wanted and got. I keep open the idea they were not meant to work.
I think whoever is behind it is in messing with heads at this point. Sending a message seems to be the goal.

Experts were also struck by the use of just a single penlight battery, hardly a reliable way to ensure the bomb would detonate when it finally got to where it was intended.
Otherwise, the devices were constructed in keeping with pipe-bomb tradition.

Seriously, what’s the difference? If, perhaps, the things had been “fake” to begin with (i.e., a piece of PVC pipe full of cornstarch with some wires and a clockboard taped on for show), it’s one thing: but AFA we know, these bombs were - however poorly-made - potentially functional, so still terrorism.
The “but they didn’t work!” dodge is BS, IMO: A sniper on a roof with a rifle who pots away at a crowd shouldn’t get off by claiming he “didn’t aim at anyone on purpose” *, a would-be bomber should get the same (lack of) consideration.

re: #370 Unshaken Defiance
Good link. And this part from it:
The absence of any obvious triggering device makes some experts who have only seen the X-rays of the devices wonder if they were meant to detonate. But the NYPD investigator notes that any one of the devices could have been detonated had somebody jostled it or fiddled with it in an unfortunate way.
After seeing a news photo of one of the packages, a private security executive realized that he had chanced to playfully toss an identical package in the air without realizing what it was. He immediately notified New York police, who determined that it was indeed one of the bombs.

The “but they didn’t work!” dodge is BS, IMO: A sniper on a roof with a rifle who pots away at a crowd shouldn’t get off by claiming he “didn’t aim at anyone on purpose” *, a would-be bomber should get the same (lack of) consideration.*though I’m sure that “defense” has been tried - somewhere
Are you saying I am downplaying all this? I don’t think I said that…so who is saying “but they didn’t work?”
I think it is pure terrorism. I just have a feeling they were sent as a message that had they been set to do their thing look at who all would have been involved.
Maybe they didn’t want the deaths or injuries. They certainly wanted the terror. And they certainly wanted everyone talking about it all.

the intent (to terrorize) is more important than whether the thing was a) functional or b) at all even ‘real’ (ie corn starch)
as i understand it, armed robbery with a toy gun is still ‘armed’ if the victims reasonably believe it’s real

The very first image we saw was the Soros bomb laying on a table outside the envelope and in a complete state.
How did they get it out of the envelope if the envelope was the trigger mechanism.
I go with what former FBI guy Clint VanZandt says in this video until more is known.

In some ways I hope this costs Andy Lack his job, He just blew a big hole in the NBC News budget with this booting of Megyn Kelly.
He was foolish for thinking she would ever work out at NBC.
They were eyeing those Fox News ratings with $$ in their eyes. Obviously no-one thought about the fact that obviously racist punditry which doesn’t cause a ripple at Fox News would be problematic on an NBC news show.

Maybe Penn and Teller can buy it at the upcoming bankruptcy sale. It would be the perfect centerpiece for a new Museum of Bullshit.
It would be so fitting if Larry Flynt turned it into Hustlerworld!

I can only surmise that the entire RWNJ ecosphere is basically imploding, as the constant stream of hate pumped out by Fox and AM Radio has driven these people completely batshit.
