This is the day when we’re moving to our new server! I’ve been working hard to get everything updated to work with the latest versions of all the software, and I think we’re as ready as possible. But there will probably be some issues remaining, because there’s a lot of code in this site; don’t panic, we’ll work through any bugs that we encounter, as needed.

I’ll be putting the site into maintenance mode while we get things together; the database needs to be dumped to a massive SQL file, then imported into the DB on the new server. The DNS settings need to be adjusted, and some other miscellaneous stuff taken care of. It may only take a few hours, or it may take the rest of the day; there’s no way to know at this point.

We’ll be starting the final approach in about 20 minutes, at 10 am Pacific time.
