Judge sentences Fort Dix defendant Dritan Duka to life in prison
A federal judge in Camden today sentenced two of the five men found guilty of plotting to attack Fort Dix to life in prison.
U.S. District Judge Robert Kugler also sentenced Dritan Duka to 30 year sentence on top of his life term. His brother Eljvir Duka was sentenced to life and their brother Shain Duke is scheduled to be sentenced later this afternoon.
The three are ethnic Albanians born in the former Yugoslavia and were convicted along with two others convicted in December to attack the Burlington County military base in a crime inspired by al-Qaida, prosecutors said.
