Our technology analyzes each specific photo, and determines the maximum amount of compression that can be applied to the photo without creating any visual artifacts. In this way, the system compresses each photo to the maximum extent possible without hurting the perceived quality of the photo.

This looks very cool, but … I do see the compression artifacts in the smaller image. It’s amazingly good for the amount of compression, though - standard JPEG compression to that small size would probably look a lot worse.

Um, yeah, I see some artifacts, but the quality is superior for the amount of compression. What I’d really like to see is one with lots of bright orangey red against another color and see if the wheels fall off. That’s where they typically go ugly.

For kicks, I just created an album and tested a .jpg saved at zero compression (105kb) that had a lot of orangey red. It compressed to 28kb with noticeable (predictable) degradation in the orangey/reddish areas. Before Image / After Image.

Yup looks like they pushed as hard as they could. Next I’ll see what happens with an image run through this then through the Photoshop jpeg artifact filter. I’m always on the lookout to get the sharpness and size up within the 200k limit.
