Wow. They’re going all-out to drag women back into the medieval era.

Bye bye in vitro fertilization.

Actually, in the medieval era, personhood began with the ‘formation’ of the fetus, or as late as ‘quickening’. This standard never applied, for the simple fact that it’s ridiculously impractical.

So, we have a new area of law. Prosecuting women who have miscarriages. She must have done something to cause the “spontaneous abortion.”—no?

No, THEY ARE NOT. If women want to live that way, it’s their choice.

Women who do not want to live that way will forever work to ensure the Right to Choice.

OK, so zygotes are people. What other situation is there where one person has to provide life support with their own body to another individual against their will for 9 seconds let alone 9 months? Do I get to demand your kidney?

Ok…and the child tax deduction starts…when? A zygote gets its social security number at what week? Welfare/ADCFS for the zygote begins when? Does an uninsured woman get state children’s healthcare for the child-person while in the womb? Those are the questions that came to mind without my really thinking about it. How many other areas does this personhood impact?
