Well that sucks. I have mucho devices and having to get new everything...I'd have to think about that.

They used to call it planned obsolescence.

I'm sure there is a newer expression now.

That would allow devices whose manufacturers aren't giving Apple a cut to continue to work. I'd bet against it.

I'm going to hope they're available from someone who makes products with a reasonable level of quality. I've bought some after-markets that literally fell to pieces after two uses.
