A couple of days ago D_F and I had a minor tiff about Dame Thatcher. He claimed that “radical left…was strangling the UK.”
Well, here’s an example of that ‘radical left’ and what happened to them. And this is in a democracy with a Labour government. Dame Thatcher was worse.
Nice people, eh?
This is what goes through my mind every time I think of Dame Thatcher.

I don’t think the page is “over” a comment dispute really, although I guess you could read it that way. The news over the Shrewsbury 24 is current and topical, and it definitely illustrates that the right wing in the UK probably acted illegally to intimidate and imprison union workers, at the bidding of the construction industry.
