The US Chamber of Commerce has announced they will provide financial support to incumbent Republicans who vote to reopen the government AND raise the debt ceiling.

This effectively ends the threat of being primaried from the far Right — but doesn’t end the threat of losing horribly from the Left. And with the GOP plummeting in the polls, to the point that if the election were held today, the Dems would sweep the house, the writing is on the wall: Boehner is going to HAVE to surrender.

They have lost the fight (… despite getting everything they wanted in a budget), and only the most out of touch Tea Partiers aren’t aware of this.
