It urges us to follow the “counsel of the Judeo-Christian tradition” and then quotes the “ancient civil code of Israel” which commands stoning the animal to death. Are they saying we should follow the code or not? It is the whole idea of following scriptural advice on such ‘practical matters’ that is unreasonable here. And killing that whale given the circumstances would be both wrong and unreasonable, IMO.

It amazes me over and over, when “christians” revert to the Hebrew scriptures to find something that fit’s their skewed worldview.

In that case guy and girls, let’s try some of that Old Testament judgements and all that… a few stonings in store for your woman in the congregation this Sunday?
