What about the small business that is not incorporated, where the tax id number is the ss number of the owner, like say, maybe, a Stonemason?
I admit I never hit those numbers, which is why I am no longer at it full time, but I know many who did, as well as vending machine route owners, small garage owners, landscapers, builders…

Many small business owners are trade workers and such, but without employees. If they make that kind of money, spend the few $100 to form a chapter S. Not being a smart ass, but no ones taxes are going up until 2011, and then, only a very small percentage of the population will go up 3% to the pre Bush rate.
