When I was in college, I read Samuelson’s book on economics.
It taught me enough to know about creating wealth, and productive vs unproductive investment. And that is enough to know why socialism and communism don’t work, and how it isn’t a zero-sum game.

As Maggie Thatcher said, socialism is great, until you run out of money.

Our government is blowing through cash at an unprecedented level. We’ll run out of money for socialism sooner, rather than later. What then?
