Do you mean the dock?

For me the dashboard (weather, calculator and other widgets) is shown/hidden via F4 (or fn+F4 if you have the function key accelerators disabled).

I have a new game I am trying to play, but part of it is hidden by the dock. I can’t play because I can’t see the whole board. Actually, I can’t see the whole board at all. I can’t see a way to make it full-screen either. I can’t get to the bottom of the board to resize it.

being old sucks.
