re: #91 I’m back in the USSR (sigh)

OK, the passport issue seems to be moot. Z and the lawyer claim that they found the passport when they were cleaning up the house and gave it to the lawyer who apparently forgot about it for a month. This would explain both the stolen pass claim and the fact that he didn’t surrender the pass. (At this time, at least.)

This story requires a hefty dose of credulity to swallow. Presumably the passport found in cleaning the house and given to the lawyer to be lost again would be the old one, not the new one.
