My eldest first cousin called me this morning to wish me happy birthday. She is one of the three people in my family who still speak to me (her eldest daughter also does).

She wanted to catch me up on Michigan politics as well. She’s no longer a “pox on both your houses” type of voter, but all in on Michigan Democrats now.

Here is all you have to know about Michigan politics:
1. Gretchen Whitmer abolished the 1931 anti-abortion law that was supposed to take effect after Roe V Wade was overturned.
2. The GOP party chair is an insane ghoul who refused to back down from comparing some very mild firearms regulation with The Holocaust.
