It’s better than Livni, but Bibi still really wants to build a “national unity” government. So, even though there isn’t a huge difference nowadays between Likud and Labour, there will be some lefty influences if they are part of a coalition. However, given that many people voted for Avigdor Lieberman, Bibi will still have to recognize the influence and public wish for a turn right-wards.

Was it the sight of Hamas sending love notes to Obama via Sen. John Kerry while prancing around in Gaza with Keith Ellison the US moslem from Minnesota, that got Bibi Netanyahu the top job?

If so, thank you, John F’n Kerry, for “bringing it on” with Hamas, and getting Israelis scared straight.

Last night John Batchellor said this was Obama’s pay back to John Kerry for giving Obama a spot at Kerry’s convention in 2004, and also Obama keeping his promise to his Palestinian constituents, the Khalidis and Hamas which supported Obama’s candidacy.
