the house can pass a thousand such bills, but they’ll never get through the senate. ergo, no progress. it’s the dems’ fault.

Much of this nonsense is coming from the US political media, which is engaged in a long-running and consequential abdication of their professional duty.

I’m really hard-pressed to think of any worse collective dereliction of professional duty.
