Another of my friends had a small pizzeria business. When he spoke out about the radicalization someone went around handing out flyers accusing him of being unIslamic and calling on all Muslims to boycott his business and boycott anyone who didn’t support boycotting. For about a month he noticed a difference and then business picked up again.

The extremists make it hard for everyone. I would need proof (not heresay) that the location and timing of the Mosque in New York was an intentional plot to incubate radicals in the shadow of the WTC.

Having said that the timing of the dedication is at best poor understanding of the broader communities feelings and at worst a kind of “in your face” bravado.
