It’s absolutely insane. They were just claiming that the money was available, but now there’s a possibility that the transportation bill wont get reauthorized, meaning all the money is up in the air.

These nitwits are going to engage in the bait and switch. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if many of the supposed porkfest projects never happen because the money simply doesn’t become available because it’s swallowed up elsewhere as part of a bait and switch.

Come to CT. Our state has not spent one dime of the stimulus money as of yet. There is one project that might get the Fed funding in late November. Everyone, including the Governor, was straining at the leash for the Fed bucks, and now they can’t even figure out how they are able to spend it. It appears that almost all of those “shovel ready” projects were in fact not shovel ready in any way shape or form. Now Obama and his bunch of clowns are going to attempt to release even more of the money quicker over the summer. Even if this happens, no money will be spent, but the government will claim 2 bazillion jobs were saved because of it.

It was all BS and hype from the President on down. America was the sucker.
