When I got into cooking a few years back, we watched the sales and managed to snag one of the nice Cuisinart stainless steel clad sets for under $200. I take good care of those.

He turned the small frying pan black. GRUMBLE. I haven’t tried the oven cleaner yet but that’s probably the next step. I’ve put in a lot of elbow grease with the Barkeep’s Friend.

Between those and my enamel-coated Dutch ovens (Lodge) I am a happy person.

Try Dawn Power Dissolver. Available at some hardware stores in the housewares section. Might work, might not.

I love cast iron, but don’t bother with the enameled stuff.

And speaking of dinner, my hubby just announced dinner is ready.
