Yes, IE7 choked on threads over about 700 messages, and that was before Charles put in some new features last week. Now, who knows.

IE6 would work on longer threads, but slowly, until those changes, and after would not work at all on the LGF front page.

So, I finally downloaded Firefox, and its a completely different animal. LGF hasn’t worked this well for me since - well, just about forever, since it went Ajax.

I’m told Chrome is also vastly superior to Internet Exploder, though optimized a bit differently. And I have zero hands-on experience with Exploder 8, but have not heard that it seriously competes with Firefox and Chrome.

I’ve seen Firefox get funky a couple of times this morning (on other sites), it’s not flawless - and the support forum is a bit scary. But for LGF, if you haven’t tried it - try it!

Or maybe Charles can customize a version, support his own browser - FireLizard!

I trust Google even less than I trust Microsoft…
