The wealthy would still pay more with a flat tax.
Progressive taxation is a form of penalty for success.
With our taxes we buy goods & services from the government & a wealthy man gets the same military protection etc that an average citizen gets.

If we are all equal before the law, then its only fair that we pay an equal percentage of taxes. re: #1127 Ward Cleaver
