I am a Texas liberal.
I like tofu, sushi, arugula, chai, dijon mustard, and other things that get me branded a dirty fucking hippie anywhere outside of Austin.
I’ve gotten fired before, but have never taken unemployment.
I pay my bills, pay my taxes, and have a job.
I have a business degree.
I’m damned picky about my BBQ,
And I consider any steak above medium rare overcooked.
I drink red wine,
Don’t mind guns, am utterly bored by NASCAR, and enjoy UFC.
Figure that out.

I use curly light bulbs and recycle,
Believe in evolution, AGW, and Thomas Jefferson being in the history books.
I’ve actually been to France,
I know that Jesus cared about social justice despite what Glenn Beck says,
And even though I’m an atheist, I think Sarah Palin is God’s greatest gift to the Democratic Party since forever.

I voted for Obama
And would vote against Ron Paul
If I lived in his district.
Amen.

In short, I like this country and I’m not leaving,
And I’m not as easy to pin down as you might think. ;)
