Israel should refuse to make access to Israeli territory a part of any cease fire. Gaza has a border with Egypt and Gaza has a seaport. Israel can insist on inspecting to keep weapons out but when not imposing a blockade during combat does not need to prevent Gazans from trading without going through Israel. If they can not make it a success like Hong Kong, Singapore or Gibraltar were when cut off from their hinterlands then that is their problem.

and if the Arabs really sympathized with them, they could open the Egyptian border instead of shooting the Gazans.
