I never understood the pro life position that the embryo’s should be discarded rather then be used to possibly save or improve lives.

For your edification: the pro-life position is that human embryos should not be used in this manner at all. It’s all part of that “life is sacred” concept liberals & leftists have a hard time comprehending.
