Because evolution being true means their is no god in their eyes for some reason. Just like the rabidly anti religion nuts on the Evolution side try to imply that a believer who believes in evolution doesn’t really believe in god. Its the extremeists on both sides who are causing and pouring gas on the flames of this debate. Neither of the 2 extreme ends is able to accept that Religion and Evolution are not exclusionary. 1 can believe in a creator without discounting evolution.
