Well, NASA still has its own NASA Channel. The National Geographic Channel is good. Discovery Channel itself is often decent.

And moreover, so the heck what? Those channels don’t travel over the public airwaves and they are beamed from satellites not owned by the federal government. In short, Government Didn’t Build That!

All satellite communications occur over leased public spectrum genius.

I wonder if it’s just that, for some reason, this poll sample didn’t include enough Hispanic voters to make an actual breakdown feasible. (i.e. if you only had 10 and they all were Obama voters, it would give you 100%, but you wouldn’t want to report that 100% of Latinos will vote for Obama, because that would make you look like an idiot).

In which case, it would still be shoddy polling, just not intentionally or maliciously so, as it looks like you’re thinking it may be.

They claim to have polled 70 Hispanics total, the Whites and Blacks listed are specified as non-Hispanic. They also claim that 57 Hispanics made it into the likely voter category, but there’s no breakdown. The odds of all 57 giving a unanimous response are pretty damned steep.
