as for solar, if the AGW crowd is all so fired up over temperature increases, why are they backing solar? the energy that the panels *don’t* convert into electricity warms the ambient air, thereby increasing the local temperatures significantly. put in a big enough array, and you suddenly are creating local weather issues, just like the various chemical plants down by LA Harbor often create their own clouds and fog…..

That’s just one of those unfathomable mysteries of life.
