We don’t need another Reagan. We need lots of people at the ground level working towards improving the situation locally. Hoping for a Messiah - a chosen one - to lead the GOP and/or conservatives out of the wilderness is going to be a fool’s errand. Lay the groundwork to successfully winning at the local level will build towards wins at the state and national level.

Grassroots is one of the keys…but, we do need a leader with charisma though. That is ALL Obama had and he won….Reagan had loads of it as well.

What the right really needs is a set of goals, policies and strategies and a plan to implement them. It should be like along the lines of the “Contract with America”. Simple, yet strong. Easy to rattle off to anyone not sure of who or what to vote for. I submit that the ideas on the right are far superior than anything the left has to offer us. So, it’s just a matter of getting what we want to do and how we want to do to the masses….having a strong leader with a clear message is the way back.
