Charles, I think you’re forgetting that people like Van Jones live in a leftist postmodern bubble where ‘facts’ and ‘truth’ are whatever you want them to be. I don’t doubt that Jones signed that petition and that in his disordered mind he never considered the factual implications of what he was signing, something I’m sure he’s really not equipped to do. It’s like you signing a confession to a serious crime and then claiming that you had no idea what you were signing. I’ve known enough lefties whose hatred of Bush and Chaney were so virulent they’d believe any kind of comic Hollywood conspiracy theory about them. I would say that considering Jones’ lunacy on other matters it’s a good bet he signed and believed it at the time. You don’t have to choose between believing Jones and believing the troofers, they’re all crazy and they’re all liars.
