In a way, her getting bounced from the case would accomplish exactly what she wants, which is to draw things out as much as possible. Getting a new judge up to speed on the docket would eat up still more time. At this point, we’re already looking at 2025 for a trial.

This is a simple trial. Physical evidence. Documented behavior. Prosecution could be done in a week or two. A new judge could bring this to trial in four months.
