I wouldn’t call the Globe and Mail liberal, at least not in general. Anyway, I think the article is stating the obvious, that Haman is going to be an even bigger putz, now that he has “won the election”. So the talks that would have been doomed to failure in the first place, are now doubly doomed to failure.
