This must be “see a reptile day”. I had a big fat skink lizard (probably 8 inches nose to tail) watching me fill tanks this morning. He was just sitting on the cement, about 6 foot away. When I tried to get a bit closer however, he took off running. I’d imagine being small, soft and defenseless would do that to you.
