Actually, the 1918 flu tended to kill adults in the prime of life, as opposed to the usual flu fatality pattern of the elderly and very young.

Understood. It seems it took quite a few kids in the area I grew up. This was backwoods upstate NY. I am sure there were quite a few adults in there, I just remember all the graves of kids since they stuck out more age wise.
