Heh. I’d love to see PETA dress in sheep costumes and stand outside the mosques during Eid Al Adha.

I was accosted by a PETA when I was in Israel last September, passing out pamphlets in Jerusalem about “kapparos.” I wasn’t planning on performing kapparos in Jerusalem, but just because this PETA idiot reminded me, I went to the Mahane Yehuda market and did kapporos there.

Yeah, that seems to be their latest non-productive crusade. Brilliant.

Of course, we’re talking about an organization whose founder, Ingrid Newkirk, wanted to sell tofu flavored with George Clooney’s sweat. Which says a boatload about their overall rationality.
