If the man maintained a home and property there, and paid taxes on it while he worked in DC, for cryin’ out loud, he’s a resident!

States don’t take residency away from people who serve in Congress, do they? And they live mostly in DC, while simply maintaining property in their home state, don’t they?

the residency rules are not universal…in this case the election rules in Cook County will have to be rewritten…it’s a good thing
