It’s 36 more small dogs than large dogs. So it can’t be 36 small dogs and 13 large dogs; that means that the number of small dogs is only 23 more than the number of large dogs. Doing the math according to the problem, you get 6.5 large dogs and 42.5 small dogs, which is… problematic.
