I really think you miss my point. I’m talking about American conservatives, on this list, who reference Shariah to prove that Obama is a Muslim, and ONLY that Obama is a Muslim. Because they don’t like Obama. They would never do this in the case of an actual Muslim who converted to Christianity. The disconnect annoys me.

I know a few folks with Jewish moms and Muslim dads, but they’re all Israeli, and fairly secular, so they don’t seem to be bothered.

I find it interesting that conservatives would apply Sharia law to argue that Obama is a Muslim. Seems like a contradiction. One would think that they would apply US law and the law of common sense but I’m afraid that’s asking for too much.
