Still makes me ponder that I should have enlisted for photography in ‘82 for a 4 year term. Could have gotten a nice Nikon F3 with a 50/1.4 with that enlistment bonus & still gotten assigned to Germany…

Could have got you blown up in any of several deployments. Or you could have spent 20 yrs making GO personality portraits for new Brigadiers.
