So after my repeated urging I finally got mom to go and see an actual doctor (a very good neurosurgeon) instead of all these “new age woo peddler” quacks. He spent about five minutes with her x-rays and MRI scans (on disk) and diagnosed her as having Spondylosis.

Problem is he insisted she go in for surgery immediately before any more permanent nerve damage could accrue. She is obviously adverse to having major (although routine) surgery done on her neck, and has attempted to seek out second, third, and fourth opinions before it is done. I picked this doctor, I asked around, I looked up his record, I checked him out six ways to Sunday and I personally trust his judgment.

He didn’t say it (he didn’t have to) but this entire last surgery on her shoulder was completely pointless and did nothing but make the Dr. involved money. It has nothing at all to do with her shoulder it is her cervical spine.

No wonder so many people are becoming skeptical of “science” you have thousands of people peddling quack cures that don’t work (and even surgical procedures) out there while being endorsed and paid for by the government.
