They had to run if they want any kind of shot in 2016. The Republican Party all too often goes for whoever is next in line, and you have to actually get in that line at some point. Makes me wonder why Huck sat this one out. The Fox gig can’t be that lucrative being only once a week, can it?

At the same time, it’s a paying gig, one that’s almost guaranteed to last through til 2015, when he can consider making a run for the nomination again. That way, he avoids stinking of the utter defeat that this year is going to bring.
