As with any piece of pop-culture, people will read into it what they want. Avatar, a visually brilliant and yet shallow action film (Duh!), seems to have riled up certain political partisans.

I’ve said, and still maintain, that if the movie “300” were released under this current admin., the usual suspects would denounce it as pro-gay, pro-abortion, Hollywood propaganda.
