Israel needs a mascot too. Or at least a symbol.

I suggest a giant banana, signifying that Israeli behavior has now made it a truism that the World considers Israel a Banana Republic.

From Europe and from the Obama Administration comes word that both would prefer -and are pushing for - a unity Government of Likud and Kadima.

Never mind what will result, Israel should look at itself and ask what they have done to diminish their status and respect so that the World now feels that they have a right to advise the Israeli voters of the makeup of their Government.
