Having some numbers for the broad categories based on historical precedents and estimated current needs could have been done in a relatively short time over the last few months. Estimating summary budgets isn’t difficult. They have had the resources and time to have an outline for a reasonable plan, including estimates for what is needed to get the ship going in the right direction. They either have a plan and won’t share the details, or they don’t have a plan with details. Either way, they failed, we pay.

I wasn’t talking about the Democrats, ya know the party in power who is supposed to propose the first detailed budget but hasn’t yet?
