Personally, I think Jones saw an opening to become the new Art Bell. I don’t think he believes any of the schtick he peddles. Nobody who is that effective at getting his message out could be that devoted to it. The message is whatever the paranoia of the day is.

No, he’s actually devoted to it. He was on radio and on public access TV here in Austin for years peddling that shit, long before Fox News ever came calling.

He’s truly a raving paranoid nutjob. The problem is that Fox News and the mainstream right are now pandering to him and giving him a forum.
