Yeah, they’ve always been more in love with Reagan teh abstract rather than Reagan the president/man. I have my problems with Reagan but I think he had a flexibility that would surely get him vilified by today’s cons. For one, they’d hate that he’d talk with Tip O’Neill let alone Gorby.
