Kragar, go for the meds. Anxiety attacks suck, doubly so if they mimic a heart attack - or trigger one! I’ve seen the meds work just great for people. You might actually like them, give you a little more detachment, let you be cooler and stay that way without becoming the kung fu master, real better living thru chemistry, good ol’ SSRIs, could probably find some herbal or dietary equivalents, probably, you might even try switching out to those after a while, if you’re happy with the results, or if you’re not.

My wife was having ‘anxiety’ attacks / panic attacks…come to find out it was actually her gall bladder. Shortness of breath, chest pains…the whole nine yards… once the gall bladder was removed. Not a single hitch since.
